Baxter’s liver Cake

1 lb liver (approx 450 grms)

½ lb self raise flour (8oz or 1 cup)

2 eggs

2 - 4 cloves garlic

1 chicken stock cube, dissolved in some boiling water

Whiz all but flour in a food processor - then add in the flour.

Spread out thinly on a large baking tray / sheet.

Bake for 30/40 mins in a moderate oven.

Allow to cool, then you can cut into treat size pieces.

Freezes well, defrost as much as you need - when you need it

Chicken with garlic

Sprinkle chicken breast with garlic powder

Place into oven, with small amount of water, covered in foil.

Cook moderate oven for 30 / 40 mins - check if cooked through.

Cut into treat size pieces.

A treat is a reward & must be worthy for the task. Each dog is different - know your dog, it may come down to a toy instead !!!

If I was asked to work a Bank holiday for flat rate - NO way. I would be expecting at least double pay & a day off or triple pay.

Treats don’t have to be BIG, but they do have to be real tasty. You may find you need to change the treat depending on what you are asking your dog to do !!!

Pre cooked cocktail sausages, cheese, pre bought treats etc. Small but Tasty.

Don’t forget thinks like fresh carrots, apple etc
